The Concussion Database announces updates

Since launching the Concussion Database in November 2016, we have been working hard to build and develop the educational resource. Over the last six months we’ve listened to feedback from our members and made changes to improve their experience of the Concussion Database.

Our Literature module currently indexes over 16,000 peer-reviewed articles relating to concussion. We’ve made it easier to sift through this content by adding date filters to our advanced search function. We’ve also helped members spot papers with summaries from The Drake Foundation, which aim to add insight and put key papers in context.

As the field of concussion research continues to grow, so do our Assessment and Technology modules. We’ve improved navigation to help members find the listings most relevant to them and are working with the owners of these products to make sure we’re up-to-date.

In response to member requests, additional information has also been added to our Events module, which can now be filtered by region and date.

We hope these changes will improve our members’ experience of the Concussion Database. We will continue to build on these developments in the coming months and welcome further feedback. If any members have suggestions please don’t hesitate to get in touch on [email protected].
